President Cyril Ramaphosa has expressed condolences at the passing of Kofi Atta Annan.
Speaking shortly before departing from Sadec summit in Windhoek, the president said Annan was a great leader and diplomat extraordinaire, who had advanced the African agenda within the United Nations.
Deputy President David Mabuza also paid tribute to Annan during a National Day of Prayer event at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
