Assist Refrigeration Technician with assembly and disassembly of machinery.
Independently perform routine and repetitive maintenance tasks.
Lubrication and cleaning of machinery and ice build-up.
Maintain a clean workshop environment.
Maintain a clean and clear refrigeration plant room.
Perform safety inspections and reports.
Assist Refrigeration Technician on major breakdowns.
Be prepared to work overtime/stand-by including weekends and public holidays.
Grade 12 or N2
Be able to conduct adjustments on machinery as well as change component parts
Complete tasks timeously whilst ensuring a high level of craftsmanship
Mechanically competent with experience in a mechanical field
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to communicate in English.
Physically fit and able to work in a cold environment.
Constantly alert and vigilant.
