Two suspects linked to Monday’s fatal shooting at the Chicken Farm informal settlement in Soweto have been arrested.
A third suspect was shot and killed by police after pointing a gun at an officer.
The suspects are accused of shooting at six people at the informal settlement in Kliptown.
The shootout happened when Kliptown residents clashed with informal settlement residents over illegal electricity connections.
Kgomotso Diale died on the scene after he was shot during the altercation on Monday.
Five others were hospitalized, and three have been discharged.
The guns seized from the suspects will be sent for ballistics testing.
