At 16H47 Saturday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N2 Southbound, Umhlanga.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male was struck down by a light motor vehicle.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the pedestrian had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
