KwaZulu-Natal: A 34-year-old male pedestrian has sadly sustained fatal injuries after he was struck down by a light motor vehicle on the R33 at the Albert Falls Dam turn-off, in Copesville.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle were assessed by medics on the scene and found to have escaped injury.
The Crammond SAPS was on the scene as well as the Pietermaritzburg SAPS Anti-Collision Unit who will investigate the incident.
