Ex-Orlando Pirates captain Papi Khomane died in a car accident on Saturday morning, 25 November 2023.
Khomane was traveling to KZN with his mum, two uncles, and a driver when the accident happened.
According to a relative, the car had tyre burst and it overturned. The incident happened around Heidelberg, claiming the lives of Khomane, his mother, and one of the uncles. They were on their way to the funeral of a relative.
The driver and the other uncle are in a critical condition at the hospital.
