Over 200 firefighters suspended

Over 200 Johannesburg firefighters have been suspended, for their refusal to attend to a callout.

Emergency management services, Robert Mulaudzi said this will not affect the services of the fire department.

Mulaudzi said, “they were suspended because they failed to render services expected from them.

We want to reassure our residents that the services are not going to be affected. All our fire stations are operational. It’s business as usual.
