Job Summary
This person’s primary responsibilities will be researching and writing up news alerts regarding travel destinations and providing up-to-date and accurate information for an established travel information website.
Job requirements also include junior journalist tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
Compile concise travel warnings and stories
Update city guides
Sourcing and writing articles for other publications
Assisting journalists and editors with research
Administrative tasks of uploading articles daily and managing the website back-end
Conducting interviews
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in English, communication or journalism
Previous writing experience and some internet research experience essential
Strong English language and grammar skills
Self-editing ability
Good work organisation, time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Self-motivated, positive, proactive and delivers quality work
