We’re almost at the end of 2018, and former president Jacob Zuma has decided to join Twitter. Well, we really can’t say we saw that one coming.
On Friday morning, the former leader of the National African Congress (ANC) took to his Twitter account to announce that he’s decided to get with the programme (not in those words, of course). “I felt it was necessary that I should join in and be part of the conversation, and join the people in their discussion. It’s me, former president Jacob Zuma.”

The former head of state received a warm welcome from a lot of people, including Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema.
