Second State witness to testify in #OmotosoTrial

A new witness is expected to take the stand in the r@pe and human trafficking trial of Pastor Timothy Omotoso.

He and two others are accused of trafficking over 30 women and girls from the church.

Over the past two weeks, the Eastern Cape High Court sitting in Port Elizabeth, heard harrowing testimony from one of his alleged victims, Cheryl Zondi.

She was questioned extensively by defence attorney Peter Daubermann over the past two days. Zondi broke down several times but continued to answer the graphic questions put to her.

The charismatic pastor faces 63 main charges and 34 alternative counts, including human trafficking, r@pe, s-e-xual assault, racketeering, and conspiracy in aiding another person to commit s-e-xual assault.
