It’s Christmas Eve a day to relax and focus on the festive season but it doesn’t seem to be the case for Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi aka Prophet Mellontik Orasi. The self-proclaimed prophet of death has been going around doing damage control after a Facebook Post claims Prophet Mellontik Orasi spoke about Zimbabwe’s Ruling Party Zanu-PF.
Looking at the above picture of the Facebook Post initially posted by Masasi aTilder Moyo Live and then copied by Mbare Times (who eventually deleted the post), I have to say it is a good fake… The graphic designer captured the account well with the blue tick and all!
The man of God who looks shaken has taken to Facebook to try to explain that he didn’t post the fake prophecy and is blaming the two pages for working with Zanu-pf in trying to overthrow the government. Is the Prophet of Death scared of the Zimbabwean President?
Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi took to Facebook and had this to say: Attention everyone!
I’d like to bring some very important information to your attention regarding rogue elements within Zanupf. It has come to my knowledge that certain individuals, namely Masasi Tilda Moyo Live and Mbare Times, have been paid by these elements to edit posts in the name of Prophet Mellontik Orasi, all in an attempt to overthrow the government.
These unscrupulous individuals have gone so far as to spread false information that the army was planning to overthrow Mnangagwa a democratically elected president in February 2024. This is not only alarming but also deeply concerning, as it undermines the stability and tranquility of our nation.
Dr Prophet Mellontik Orasi would like to distance himself from factionalism,there is no coup we know of and would urge majority to ignore.
It is imperative that we stand against such deceitful acts and ensure that justice is served. A report has been made to the police, and it is crucial that they thoroughly investigate this matter. Additionally, I urge all Facebook users to report any suspicious or incendiary content associated with these individuals.
We must not allow our trust to be manipulated for personal or political gain. Let this be a reminder that our democracy and security should not be taken lightly. We need to remain vigilant, united, and committed to maintaining peace and stability for the betterment of our beloved country.
Spread the word, report any misleading content, and let’s work together to expose the truth behind these rogue elements within Zanupf. Our collective efforts will ensure that justice prevails and that the truth shines through.

His posts or rather comments on the Zanu-pf prophecy have been getting lots of comments with other people worried as to why the PROPHET is busy asking for the details of the Page owners instead of just using his Prophecy powers to see who posted the fake Post… Some are even going forward to say he shared the post and later deleted it but is now blaming the 2 Facebook Pages for his fake prophecies.
The two biggest questions we have now about Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi are:
- Did Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi aka Prophet Mellontik Orasi post the prophecy and delete it?
- Why is he not using his prophecy powers to expose the people behind the so-called fake posts?
We reached out to our friends at Mbare Times and they cleared the matter quickly as they said they got the post from Masasi aTilder Moyo Live… We tried to speak to the people from Masasi aTilder Moyo Live but we didn’t get a response by the time we published this post.
From where we are standing… Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi aka Prophet Mellontik Orasi is afraid of the Zanu-pf Government and he is worried that this prophecy fake or not might lead him into hot soup. How would you advise the Prophet of Death in this matter? Should he stick around and wait for the Zanu boys or should he head back to South Africa?
We were waiting for this one… The latest post from Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi aka Prophet Mellontik Orasi is a curse… Watch out Masasi aTilder Moyo Live and Mbare Times… The latest Facebook Post from the prophet of death reads: “God if you don’t curse some people here in Zimbabwe iam not worth to you”… He should just name the admins and give them their dates! We are waiting!
