Ntsiki Mazwai once again makes it on the trend list – as always, it is because she has ruffled feathers. Never one to shy away from offending and managing to divide people with her thoughts, Mazwai has struck again. There are people who share the same sentiments as her but some just want her off social media.
The Qhawe singer used the tornado situation that occurred in KZN on Tuesday, a potentially destructive natural force, to ‘mock’ the drug addiction in the province. Her comment was not well-received, looking at how sensitive the drug situation is and implying that majority of the province is on drugs was not on. There are people who share the same sentiments as her, but some just want her off social media.
Those who agree with Ntsiki clarified her statement by saying that she meant the tornado should have blown away the social epidemic, and not the drug addicts.
