NSFAS to investigate allegations against CEO
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme has appointed Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi and Sandile July to investigate allegations against the scheme’s CEO.
The team will also review the entity’s procurement systems and processes.
This comes after NSFAS CEO, Andile Nongogo was placed on special leave by the board.
It is alleged Nongogo has links with a company that has scored a lucrative contract with the funding scheme.
His suspension also comes amid uproar over the new direct payment system.
