Nosicelo Mtebeni’s father says 25 years is not enough

Alutha Pasile, the man who killed and dismembered his girlfriend Nosicelo Mtembeni, has been sentenced to an effective 25-years in prison.

The murder took place on 17 August in a room the couple shared.

But, Mtebeni’s father and family members are not happy with the sentence.

Meanwhile, the National Prosecuting Authority says it is pleased with the lengthy sentence which exceeds the minimum of 15-years for murder.
