The Gift of the Givers is providing flood relief in Keimoes in the Northern Cape after the Orange river burst its banks.
Teams met with ZF Mgcawu District Municipality Mayor, Maryna Basson, and disaster management to plot a way forward.
The municipality has tried in vain to get the SANDF to respond and offer air support to rescue trapped residents.
The Gift of the Givers are providing blankets, hygiene kits, food, and bottled water to areas that are still reachable by road.
