Former Uzalo actress, Nokuthula Mabika is embroiled in a car accident drama that has left the victim’s family fuming. According to Sunday Sun, the actress accidentally bumped her car into a Grade 11 pupil, Sanele Maphalala in August 2019. The actress was reportedly driving her Blue BMW, with fellow actress, Nelisa Mchunu in the passenger seat.
After realising her mistake, Nokuthula drove Sanele to a local clinic, but after the nurses examined the young man, they advised the actress to take him to the hospital because his injuries were quite severe. But this saw the disappearance of Nokuthula. The article stated that, after learning of the severity of her victim’s condition, the actress offered Sanele R150 and fled the clinic.
Like any loving parent, Sanele’s mother is frustrated and confused about the actions of Nokuthula Mabika. She claims that whenever she tries to contact the actress in regards to paying for her son’s medical bills, she flatly ignores her calls.
Sibongile shared the following with Sunday Sun: I was next to his bed. He couldn’t recognise me. It’s so painful to see my son like this. I want Nokuthula to pay for what she did. I want the law to deal with her. Maybe I’ll find peace. Sanele Maphalala suffered injuries on his head and on the left side of his body. No persons have been arrested as yet. However, there is an ongoing investigation.
