It’s Bathandwa’s smile that captured Nokubonga’s heart #OurPerfectWedding: MEMES

Nokubonga and Bathandwa are expecting more than 500 guests, for once villagers see activity, they’re sure to show up in numbers.

Bathandwa refers to Nokubonga as “juba laka” (loosely translated to “my dove”) and one can clearly see why, for his eyes light up every time he talks about her.

The couple’s paths crossed while going about their daily responsibilities at work. Bathandwa works for a company that picks up linen, while Nokubonga works at the hospital.

Bathandwa had come by the hospital to pick up linen that day and it turned out that Nokubonga was responsible for sorting out the linen. She and her colleagues had not got around finishing sorting it out therefore, she asked Bathandwa that they give them a bit more time.

While she was busy sorting it out, Bathandwa realized he liked her and took the opportunity to chat to her and at the end of the conversation, he managed to get her number. The two communicated on the phone for a while and it was that one weekend when he asked her out on a date, that sealed the deal.

Tonight, the couple have their traditional wedding. It promises to be a colourful event, filled with lots of singing and dancing.
