Nine people have died after a head-on collision between a minibus and a truck.
The accident happened on Friday on the N11 between Middelburg and Hendrina in Mpumalanga.
Eight of the deceased were burnt beyond recognition.
The drivers of both vehicles were slightly injured and taken to hospital.
Mpumalanga Community Safety MEC Gabisile Tshabalala has sent her condolences to the families of the deceased.
