A couple of months ago, Nadia Nakai was savagely bullied by trolls after an image of her with no makeup surfaced online. The rapper who has been in the entertainment industry for several years has been mum on the treatment she got until now.

In a recent interview with TshisaLive, Nadia spoke candidly about how she tries to ignore online hate as best she can and how it takes a toll on her, “I don’t think I have totally got over it. I think I fool myself a lot, to be honest. I have been preaching self-worth because if I don’t it can affect my music. I have gone through a lot of media slashing and cyberbullying; I can’t say it has made me a better person. I think if any of it happened again, I’ll still be hurt.”
At the time of the bullying, her boss, Cassper, stood up for her and even called out Isidingo for discussing the topic on their show. Take a look at the tweet below:
