Mpumalanga ATM bombing leaves Engen Garage wrecked

The convenience store at the Engen Garage in Belfast was left in tatters after yet another ATM bombing took place.

According to reports, staff members at Wimpy were sitting at the tables when the suspects entered the store in the early hours of Saturday morning. Minutes later, a devastating blast took place, wiping out most of the shop, Middelburg Observer reports.

According to Sergeant KC Mac Donald, Belfast SAPS media spokesperson, the group consisted of four armed men in balaclavas.

The ATM was severely damaged by the blast.

Fortunately, no one sustained any injuries.

This incident followed the blasting of an ATM in Pullenshope.

The ATM was situated in a shopping centre in Pullenshope where two suspects blew it up in broad daylight.

Warrant Officer David Mbenekazi told the Mpumalanga Observer that the suspects appeared to be inexperienced and the ATM also sustained damages to the degree that nothing could be taken.
