Gauteng: At 19H24 Tuesday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Botha Avenue and Stegmann Street in Randgate, Randfontien.
Reports from the scene indicate that a bakkie and motorcycle were involved in a collision.
The motorcyclist, an adult male sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize him.
Due to the nature of his injuries, a Netcare 911 Helicopter ambulance airlifted him to the hospital for the specialized care he required.
