Key Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the binding process of magazines and commercial print work to meet specific job specifications and quality standards, basic preventative maintenance on stitching machines and also ensure that quality control checklists are completed and kept up to date

Skills, Experience & Education:
The successful applicant would be a qualified bookbinder (journeyman) who has extensive previous knowledge and experience on saddle stitching in a mechanised bindery environment.
The ideal candidate will be a goal-orientated individual with proven performance, punctuality and attendance record who has completed a learnership as mechanised bookbinder and who is prepared to work shifts (including variable shifts) and overtime when required. The ability to work as a member of a team under extreme production pressure and to maintain general health and safety standards in the production environment are inherent requirements of the job
