No one could have prepared the Twitter streets for Mbali’s incredible exit on 1Magic’s drama, The River. Mbali Dikana was the last born child to ruthless mining magnate Lindiwe and police commissioner, Zweli Dikana. She shared a beautiful and rare bond with her brother, Andile Dikana.
Although she frequently heard vicious rumours about her mother, Mbali always gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, all hell broke loose when she confronted Lindiwe, regarding her devious ways. This scene, in particular, had our Twitter timeline up in flames.
Back in real life, actress Kuhle Maseko, who played the character of Mbali on The River, received only positive feedback for her stellar delivery on Friday, after her character died in a freak car accident.
