Local musician, Zandie Khumalo, has shared her opinion on the matter between Mara Louw and the Fergusons – She does not approve of Mara saying she wouldn’t let a child (Shona) tell her what she’s worth – Zandie feels that the older generation might just have a bad attitude.
Local acting icon, Mara Louw, has also spoken up about the way actors are treated and how she was unhappy with the Fergusons. Mara said that after speaking out against the family last year, she was blacklisted in the industry and hadn’t been able to find work since, as reported on by Briefly.co.za. Zandie Khumalo has taken to social media to share her opinion on this matter. She discussed how she, as a musician, turns down gigs that don’t pay what she wants but she never takes it personally.
Zandie also shared that she fears the older generation might have entitlement issues. Part of her post read: “Today I heard Mama Marah Louw talking about how a child (Shona Ferguson) can’t tell her what’s she’s worth.
I’m not an actress and I don’t know how they operate in that field so I really can’t form an informed opinion but here kwa Music I know I turn down gigs every other week because they can’t pay what I charge but I never take it personally. It’s business and we keep it moving. “Do we have a serious ageism issue or let’s just give elders what they want?”

Sbahle Mpisane is in need of help from fans to get her Twitter account back. She shared on her Instagram that she missed her Twitter account after a hacker stole it last year.
Even after numerous attempts to get her account back, Sbahle explained that the hacker promised that she wouldn’t get her account back. I miss my Twitter account. It was hacked last year. The person who hacked it contacted me and told me that I won’t get it back from her,” she explained in a post on Instagram Stories.
