Gauteng: At 06H08 Tuesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a falls on Woodmead Drive, Sandton.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male fell into an open hole with exposed wires sometime during the night.
The patient sustained serious burns to his left leg and right arm and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise him.
The patient was safely removed from the hole by fire and rescue services.
Once treated the patient was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
