LGBTQ activists and allies of the community are calling on the government to protect their rights by introducing a hate crimes bill.
The community has handed over a memorandum of demand to the Constitutional Court.
It follows a spate of murders targeting its members in just the past few months.
Having received their memorandum of demands, the manager of the Constitutional Court promised it will reach the office of the Chief Justice and the SAPS.
