Research in the field of education management and leadership
Research supervision of postgraduate students in the field of education management and leadership
Curriculum development and teaching in the fields of educational leadership, school management and governance, including the Faculty’s online programmes
Administration related to teaching, supervision, research and community engagement.
Involvement in community engagement and continuous professional development of leadership at school, district and senior management level.
Minimum Requirements…
An appropriate PhD or DEd degree
A track record of accredited research output in the field
Successfully supervised several Master’s and Doctoral students.
Experience in leading research and/or leadership development projects.
Competencies and Behavioural Attributes:
Ability to work in a team
Ability to lead an academic team – e.g. as head of the department
Recommendations for Senior Lecturer
Experience of online programme development and technology-assisted teaching
Experience in teaching with technology the development of on-line programmes will be a strong recommendation.
Teaching in undergraduate programmes.
