Local resident, and legendary TV presenter Leanne Manas has taken to her social media to remember her late friend following her recent achievement.
This is coming after the presenter made the country proud as she accepted the Knight of the French National Order of Merit. She received the award, given to her by the French embassy on May 17, as they recognised her contributions to media and journalism as well as her humanitarian work with refugees.
In a tweet, she thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for the honour and she said she was truly humbled.
Since the news of receiving the award, many have congratulated her on Twitter on this great feat and the work she has done to achieve this recognition. Taking to Twitter, Leanne remembered her late friend who died 9years today and she misses him so much.
