Rest In Peace! Condolences continue pouring in for late Gomora actor Siyabonga Zubane (Sdumo).
The shocking death of actor Siyabonga Zubane rocked many people on social media. The young Gomora star, apparently lost his life by suicide on Saturday, May 7.
Siyabonga Zubane played the character Sdumo, who was a car hijacker on the Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora. Mzansi Magic confirmed the news of the actor’s passing on their social media posts.
“No words could express the pain and sorrow we’re all feeling right now, Siyabonga Ndlondlozubane. I great upcoming actor, inspiring & motivating, his craft GREAT! Everything this man has shown us on TV is just GOOD! No one should go through death like this.

We are saddened about the passing of Siyabonga Zubane. His debut TV role in 2017, was Bhungezi on Isibaya. Recently, he was Sdumo on Gomora.

Tributes continue to pour in for the actor from various personalities and social media users. Connie Chiume who also stars in Gomora, wrote, “Oh my son kanti yini mara heh? What is happening to our children?” she said. “Siya, I have no words…. Rest In Peace rising Icon, you left your mark, you will always be remembered! You were a true fighter, and a go getter! A true rising icon indeed,” she wrote.
Taking to her comments section was actress Enhle Mbali who expressed sadness as well as Vusi Nova who said, “My heart is sore man. May he rest in peace.”
