Three pupils were killed and 13 injured in a taxi crash in Inanda, KwaZulu-Natal.
It is understood the brakes on the minibus failed and caused it to crash into five primary school pupils.
The driver veered onto an unpaved road and crashed into the pedestrians before hitting a wall and overturning it.
A passenger who survived the crash managed to call emergency services for help.
