Khaya Dladla’s future at Gagasi FM is currently hanging in the balance. This after the famous actor and radio personality’s absence from the Breakfast Show on Gagasi FM has left some listeners confused and worried.
When contacted by Sunday Sun, Khaya was uncomfortable in explaining his reasons for being off-air and also added that the powers that be have not forwarded any reassuring communication to him. He furthermore shared the following when speaking with the publication
I’m still waiting for management to tell me if I’m suspended or fired. Gagasi FM spokesperson, Khulekani Shandu vaguely shared said the following with the publication.
“Who told you Khaya was suspended? Yes, he’s not on air. People take days off. Khaya Dladla’s professional life seems to be floating on grey waters. Reports were rife about his future on Uzalo, where he portrayed the character of the much-loved GC.
Apparently, the producers and writers of the show, haven’t clearly decided on which direction should be taken regarding the development of his character. Could he be written off?
