Expresso and Tropika Island Of Treasure host, Katlego Maboe, continues to prove that he is one of the country’s most dynamic television personalities. He has fast-proven that he is a jack of all trades as he effortlessly handles both the live and reality television genres – and his professionalism doesn’t go unnoticed.
Advance Media recently released their list of the Top 100 Most Influential Young South Africans and Katlego was one of ten nominees in the media category. Naturally, Katlego is honoured at being recognised for all his hard work. “It’s an honour to be nominated among such incredible individuals whom I hold in high regard,” Katlego says.
“My thanks goes out to my Expresso family for affording me the opportunity to connect with South Africans on a deeply meaningful level and in so doing allowing me to grow and learn on this journey.
I would also like to thank the Tropika team for trusting me as the host of such a dynamic, fast-paced and entertaining television show – I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been working on when Tropika Island Of Treasure: Curacao premieres in March.
I will continue to give my best and hope that my work plants seeds that will yield good fruit in the future of those whose paths I cross. Thank you!”
