Virgin Active South Africa has shut the doors of its Melrose Arch branch after one of the members of the gym tested positive for coronavirus.
According to the group, the member has not returned to the gym since 13 March. Members who were at the gym on that day and are displaying symptoms are advised to seek medical attention.
The gym will reportedly be disinfected before opening its doors again to the public. Meanwhile, the gym is offering members a contract freeze for 30 days.
