The announcement was made at a media briefing in Mahikeng on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, supporters of North West Premier Jobs Mokgoro insist he is going nowhere.
Protesting Mokgoro supporters burnt tyres on the streets of Mahikeng to show their anger earlier.
