IR Officer urgently wanted: Salary R25 000 per month
IR Officer will be responsible for practise sound and fair labour relations practise ensure effective relationships and communication are build and maintained with managers and employees.
Accurate and systematic records keeping of disciplinary actions according to company systems, policy and procedure.
Attend to investigation and ensure same is complete timeously, efficient, thorough, objective and fair.
Continually advise line managers on appropriate disciplinary action to be taken and ensure the business always complies with the disciplinary code.
Assist line management with the drafting of changes for warning and disciplinary notifications
Attend CCMA cases effectively
Ensure knowledge and a complete understanding of all company policies, practices and procedures
Identification and reporting of trends/issues regarding unions, discipline and general IR practice that may come to your attention
Application of company’s disciplinary code, policies and procedures consistently
Keeping a clear record of all administration pertaining to Labour Relations
National certificate/Diploma in IR/HR field will be an added advantage
At least 2 years’ experience in IR environment
In depth knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EE and CCMA rules
Experience in unionised environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work independently
Must be a team player
Ability to meet deadlines
Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with employees
Valid drivers’ licence
