Nkanyiso Makhanya joined one of South Africa’s most-watched TV series, Uzalo, as Nkululeko, an orphan who has to take care of his siblings. Nkanyiso says he always knew he would be on TV, he had no plan B or C.
Uzalo welcomed Nkanyiso to its crew, and his character is sure to be a lot of fun for him to portray. The actor will be on our screens as Nkululeko, an orphan with the burden of taking care of his siblings.
Nkanyiso says he knows what it’s like to have to help out your family at a young age, he had to get a job at 13 to help out where he could. The actor says he didn’t have any other dreams or plans – he always knew he would be on TV one day.
Nkanyiso says he admires many South African actors and entertainers and they inspire him to always keep going for what he wants.
He especially looks up to Robert Marawa, Thando Thabethe, Carol Tshabalala, and Kat Sinivasin. This is one star to keep an eye on – he’s going to shine very brightly.
