Mohale Motaung is a model, entrepreneur and actor who minds his own business for the most part – However, recently he found himself on the receiving side of generous amounts of hate on social media – Mohale got mistaken with another man who compared local women to American women and got slammed for it.
A case of mistaken identity saw Mohale Motaung trending on social media as he got dragged, insulted and slammed. Mohale, who is married to Somizi Mhlongo and is an actor and model, was minding his own business when he got dragged into a fight that wasn’t his. Peeps mistook Mohale for another social media user with the same name, this one apparently being a police officer.
The man allegedly asked why South African women couldn’t look like American women, and soon he got one response after the other. In their eagerness to tell the man where to get off, people started using the wrong tag and Somizi’s bae got attacked instead.
Thinking that it was this Mohale who messed up, people went after him but that caught the attention of his fans Naturally, they started defending him, not caring about the facts and simply making sure peeps get off his case. Now that’s loyalty! One person asked why Mohale should be allowed to still have a career in law enforcement if he is misbehaving on social media. Most tweeps felt that what the man did on Twitter has nothing to do with his career and that the two shouldn’t influence each other.
