Ingrid has bravely decided to go ahead and donate a kidney to her step-brother, Shannon, and she’s scared. Her parents are scared as well, and Scandal fans are hoping she will walk away from the operation healthy.
Shannon’s talk with Ingrid seems to have spurred her into action, and she decided to donate a kidney to him, despite her earlier reluctance. Her mom, Bella, tried to persuade her earlier, but her fear was too strong.
Now Ingrid has moved past her fear, and the operation is underway. While Wesley and Bella wait anxiously for a few hours to see if their child is fine, with Bella stressed for Shannon as well, fans of the TV show have to wait a whole day to know if she will walk away from the operation unharmed.
It is hoped that there will be no complications and that Ingrid and Shannon will both be fine.
