Position Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate.

Position Purpose:

This position will provide quality Industrial Engineering practices to the supply chain team to improve plant efficiency. He/she will support and execute continuous improvement projects in close collaboration with the Technical Systems Manager, as well as project manage specific improvement projects.

Key Accountabilities:

Support Technical Systems Manager with data collection and analysis for various plant efficiencies projects
Responsible for Time and Motion studies of service centers, providing provide feedback with proposed analysis and recommendations to the Technical Systems Manager
Improve plant efficiencies through various projects – most in a support capacity to the TSM but in some cases on a smaller scale – fully accountable
Accountable to execute smaller Lean Six projects with the goal of improving efficiencies, improving quality reducing cost using the Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Implement Lean best practices with full accountability of seeing these through

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors in Industrial Engineering
0 – 2 years of Continuous Improvement experience in service and operations
Continuous Improvement Methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints)
Creative Problem Solving
Challenging Status Quo
Effective Written and Verbal Communication
Negotiation/Salesmanship
