The memorial service of former Bosasa boss Gavin Watson was held on Friday morning in Johannesburg. His family members and business associates delivered speeches and eulogies.
Gavin Watson was killed in a single-car accident outside the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. The 73-year-old CEO of Bosasa, now known as African Global Operations, was alone in the vehicle when it crashed against a bridge pillar.
Minister Nomvula Mokonyane spoke at his memorial service and said if Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo asked her how she knew Watson, she would answer to say she knew Watson as a freedom fighter.
Friends and family gave speeches at the Memorial Service.
Many came out to pay their respects and we commend the loyalty of people like Nomvula Mokonyane.
