Former Idols SA contestant, Nosipho Silinda was an absolute favourite amongst many Idols SA fans when she joined the competition last year.
The 18-year-old impressed a lot of viewers with her angelic voice, however, although people were rooting for the teenager, they became increasingly displeased with her performances closer to her elimination date.
Her underwhelming performance subjected her to a lot of criticism from her supporters. The singer acknowledged people’s woes and apologised for her weak performance but unfortunately, the apology was a bit late as she was eliminated from the competition when the Top 5 contestants were announced.
However, it’s a new dawn for Nosipho, who by the way, is also the niece to singer – Cici.
Nosipho has confirmed that she will now be releasing her music under Gallo Music, which is great news for a fairly unknown artist who is yet to release an album.
Speaking to Isolezwe, Nosipho expressed joy at signing to Gallo as she feels the recording label understands exactly what she’s trying to do with her music career. Congratulations to her, we can’t wait to see what she has to offer the industry.
