SuperSport on the stand at Icasa hearing

The fifth and final day of Icasa’s Public Hearings into its Draft Sports Broadcasting Service Amendment Regulations will see SuperSport give their presentation.

Earlier on Friday, Kwesé TV gave their presentation at the public hearings.

One of the big talking points at the hearings is the capacity broadcasters have to televise sport.

Federations point to the hours of exposure received from pay-TV compared to free-to-air as the reason they are happy with Icasa’s current regulations, even if it restricts the amount of sport available to all.
