Moffatt Eyecare Inc is an Optometry Group with practices in the Western Cape and Pietermaritzburg. We are looking to recruit a dynamic HR Officer to work closely with the Directors, Operations Manager and Financial Manager in a fast paste retail environment.
HR Functions include, but not limited to:
Providing general HR administrative support to Directors, Financial Manager, and Operations Managers
Payroll and reporting
Leave management
Frontline and Optometrist rostering
Employment Equity
Skills development
Declarations and submissions (EMP201, UIF, EMP501)
Recruitment
New employee inductions
Reviews (Probation, salary, and performance)
Industrial relations
Social
Requirements:
HR Qualification
Administrative knowledge and experience in human resource tasks
Must have a working knowledge of the Labour Relations Act, SETA & EE
High proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English

Sound administration skills, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Establishes good working relationships across teams
Brings a sense of credibility to the role and function
