Authorities have issued a Yellow Level 4 weather warning following heavy rains in several parts of the country overnight.
The warning means that localized flooding, travel disruptions, and damage in low-lying areas are expected.
Residents in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and the North West experienced heavy rain overnight.
Motorists are being urged to drive carefully.
