KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Producing high-quality product
Checking fluff pipes to prevent contamination
Checking fluff silos during shift.
Consistent production on all machines
Minimize downtime (grinder block etc.)
Minimize waste produced by minimizing downtime
Prevent machines from overloading.
Compliance to ISO standards
Ensuring that “flaps” is in front of the grinder
Adhering to working instructions
Reporting all faults to Team leader / Manager
Doing housekeeping in areas surrounding the work area
Adhere to HACCP procedures.
Creating and maintaining a safe working environment
Reporting all accidents/incidents/near misses to Team leader and/or Manager
Report any faulty equipment immediately to Team leader and/or Manager
Wear own personal protective clothing (PPE)
Adhere to safety procedures and instructions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Grade 12
Extrusion in-house training
Minimum 2-year production experience in a production facility Attention to detail
Work Accuracy
Ability to work under pressure
Must be willing to work overtime and/or shifts when required.
