We are looking for a General Manager to partner and build a successful business though business development, staff management and growth, budgets, HR, Finance and operations of a top executive search firm in SA.
Responsibilities include formulating overall company and sales strategy, managing people and establishing policies and growing the sales pipeline through executive engagements with top decision-makers to generate new business.
To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Your strong ability to build relationships with captains of industry and ensure sales targets are met.

Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations
Design strategy and set goals for growth
Conduct research to identify new markets and client needs
Source and grow new clients
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
Set and improve policies and processes
Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
Direct and participate in the employee assessment process
Prepare regular reports for upper management
Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee retention, growth of market share, expansion into other business areas, loss of business to competitors)
