Gang-rape reported at Reiger Park Secondary School. The girl was allegedly raped by two schoolboys in nearby bushes at the back of the school. A group of pupils were apparently looking on, with some of them allegedly filming the criminal act. The victim and her family reported the s.e.xual attack to the police on March 6.
Two schoolboys, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested for allegedly raping a fellow schoolgirl, 13, at Reiger Park Secondary School in Boksburg, reports Boksburg Advertiser.
This is after the girl reportedly suffered the rape on February 28. The girl has been taken for medical examination.
The Reiger Park SAPS spokesperson Const Jan Mokwana said that according to information received so far, the girl was late for school, and thus decided to enter the premises through the fence at the back of the school, near the bushes.
“That’s when the boys allegedly dragged her into the bush as she was trying to climb over the fence,” said Mokwana. The rape is being investigated by the family violence, child protection, and s.e.xual offence (FCS) unit.
