He was an unknown entity when he joined Kaizer Chiefs from Ajax Cape Town in 2011. After almost a decade at Amakhosi, Katsande has turned into one of the finest midfielders in the country. He has also changed his cars through the years. Katsande’s transformation has been truly remarkable. From a bulldozing midfielder to a vital midfield cog for both club and country.

Now at 33, the man known as ‘Salt and Vinegar’ has focused his attention on club football, after quitting the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

Off the field, his transformation has been just as remarkable, particularly in terms of his cars.

Katsande’s first car was the elegant BMW 318i that at the time, had a starting price of R806 000.

Katsande’s Incredible Car Evolution

After winning Kaizer Chiefs’ Player of the Year award in 2014, Katsande spent that year driving around in the smart Nissan 350Z.

As the years rolled on Katsande started rolling with the big boys, he enlisted the services of the BMW X6 M50D that has a starting price of R1.3 million.

These days Amakhosi’s number 31 sits high in a Range Rover that has a starting price of R1.6 million.
