At 16H43 Friday late afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N3 Durban bound approximately two kilometers before the Marianhill Toll Plaza.
Reports from the scene indicate that seven vehicles and a truck were involved in a collision.
Paramedics assessed the scene and found that four people had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
