The Fergusons are looking for new Actors – Here is how you can apply

Connie and Shona Ferguson

Ferguson Films is opening up the industry by searching for new talent. This is an exciting move in the right direction as they are looking for the next big thing to star in their productions.

The production company which is the brainchild of Mzansi’s power couple and media moguls Shona and Connie Ferguson, has been working hard to bring fresh content. Even though Shona is against opening up the industry they are open to introducing new faces this year.

The Fergusons

“The term “recycling actors” is very insulting to actors in our industry. Actors act. That’s what they do for a living. Saying because they’ve been on 1 project they should be cast away and someone new must be cast is unfair. I have never cared for this particular phrase “open up the industry” because it’s what we do every day of our lives. We open up the industry to new and old talent. We open up the industry to the world.”

Taking to Instagram, Shona announced that they are looking for new lead actors to star in their shows. The production company produces numerous shows such as Igazi, The Queen, and Rockville. Shona said those who are interested should send their short bio and a 1-minute monologue to an email he shared on his Instagram post.

Arianna Katt

Arianna, real name Tshegofatso Maepa, is being attacked by black Twitter for posting revealing photos of herself on social media. Arianna and her four friends shot to fame, or infamy as some would like to say, last year when they made a thirty second Tik Tok video in which they were dancing to the John Vuli Gate song at a petrol station while holding bottles of Russian Bear Vodka.
